The best plugins for your blog

wppluginThere are many plugins available for wordpress blogs, in fact so many you will get lost just looking through them all I am recommending the following plugins for your blog.

To install a plugin  just log into your WP dashboard, click on Plugins  in the left sidebar,

click  Add New then type the name of the plugin in the search box for each of the plugins listed below.

When you find it click on Install on the right side of the screen and then follow the prompts to install and activate your plugin

FaceBook Share – Adds a button which allows you to share post and also shows the number of times the post or page has been shared through out the Facebook just like tweetmeme button does for twitter.

Tweetmeme  – this adds a twitter box to the side of your posts people can easily click the tweet button and tweet your post.

Viper’s Video Quicktags – This plugin will help you embed videos into your blog from Youtube, Google, Vimeo, Viddler

Tiny MCE Advanced – This plugin gives you Microsoft Word style function when writing your posts

WP Related Posts – this plugin will add some related posts to the end of your post so that people can find other relevant information easily.

SI CAPTCHA Anti-Spam  – Adds CAPTCHA anti-spam methods to WordPress on the comment form, registration form, login, or all. This prevents spam from automated bots. Also is WPMU and BuddyPress compatible.

Google Friends Connect Widget – this shows a box with google friends connect looks great for your blog

Post Teaser –
this will display your posts in a small teaser box instead of the full post, great when you start posting many articles

SexyBookmarks – adds bookmark buttons to your post for easy 1 click bookmarking

All in One SEO –
this is great for your SEO needs it will add keywords, title tags etc toyour pages

Google XML Sitemaps – This plugin will generate a special XML sitemap which will help search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing and Ask.com to better index your blog.

WP Unique – this one costs money. – WPUnique encodes common dictionary words into standard HTML character codes, to make your duplicate content appear unique to the search engines. Version 2.0 now allows you to “uniquify” individual posts, automatically spin posts using an editable synonyms dictionary, and turn defined keywords into clickable links
