Through it all I’m working on my own wellness — making stress management and sleep a priority, tweaking what I eat, staying flexible when it comes to necessary change, making sure to move every day, and surrounding myself with inspiring people. Also being realistic and nice to myself if I slip up — I want to be this kind of person for myself and others.
Above image: We fashioned a tiny Eiffel Tower out of a single piece of copper wire. Bend a length of copper wire so there are about 4 inches on one side. Twist at the bend about three-quarters of the way down. Twist the longer side of the wire upward from the bottom, curve it across to the other leg and twist back down. Cut off any excess. Pure Green Magazine is a lovely Canadian print magazine dedicated to stylish green living. This quarterly publication (which is printed on 100% post-consumer paper with vegetable inks) just launched their premier print issue, which focuses on one of my favorite topics: entertaining. In addition to stories on homes, travel and fashion, this issue includes some delicious ideas for cooking. I love being able to flip through pages and tear things out when they look good, and this issue is full of tear-worthy ideas. Click here for more info and to order a subscription online. xo, grace
